This happened to me a few weeks ago. Apparently there's a glitch in Target's system, and if you have a coupon for buying 2 items to get your coupon value, you only get the value of one off. For example, I had a coupon for buying 2 Mead folders and getting $1.00 off. I found them for $.48 each and thought, "cool, two free folders". When I checked out though, after looking at my reciept, I realized the coupon only took $.48 off, not the full $1.00 value.
Target knows this is happening, and says it can be corrected at customer service, but my experience has been that once the cashier puts the coupons in the drawer, your evidence is gone...so watch the register!
