There is not much more that I need to say, except that I wish that things were different.
This was the first time that I took the boys to my parents' gravesite. I always knew it would be gut-wrenching for me, but they were so sweet and caring, and I think they were actually glad to have been brought to this place.
While we are to remember our lost loved ones on Memorial Day, be sure to hug those that are closest to you, and savor every moment.
